Whale Watching Tour
Our Whale's of the Whitsundays travel from Antarctica every year and arrive in in the beautiful Whitsunday's every year from June to October.
The Whale's that we regularly encounter are Humpbacks.
Females make the journey Nth to the Whitsunday's to give berth to their calf or to breed, The gestation period for the whales is 11-12 months with females giving birth every 2-3 years.
The life span of the whales has been recorded up to 48 years but it is believed they could live as long as 80 years the similar to other balaenopterids.
Calves are well developed and immediately able to swim. Calves stay close to their mother for the first few days to weeks and are suckled under the water close to the surface. Calves are weaned at around 11 months. Other adults known as escorts help protect calves from predators.
Humpback whales can be highly active at the surface with breaching, pec slapping and tail slapping, particularly at the breeding grounds

Whitehaven Beach Tour
Set in the unspoiled Great Barrier Reef on the picturesque Far North Queensland coast in the beautiful Whitsunday's it's no surprise that Whitehaven Beach was named the world's best beach, in fact, it's not the first time the pristine shore has made the list. It also took out the title in 2013.
Sea levels rose and fell around the dunes as ice ages came and went. Over time, impurities were leached from the sand by fresh water, leaving it the fine, white silica you see today. The most recent rise in sea levels, about 10,000 years ago, brought the sea to the foot of these dunes, creating Whitehaven Beach. This tour is for those who don't want to go snorkeling but would like to feel the sand under their feet and lye on the beach enjoying a relaxing day with the opportunity to take in the views from the lookout at the top of the walking tracks
Your tour starts at 9am and returns at 3pm giving ample time to enjoy the day on the beach and enjoy the Whitehaven walks if that's your thing.
